Advertising Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Mish gets friends off their phones and out doing real things together. Sponsored missions let local businesses invite crews in, as long as they make Mish better for players, not worse. This policy applies to every business account and every sponsored mission.

How sponsored missions work

TierWhere it showsPrice
StarterTakes turns in the Sponsored spot under Bonus, in your area$5 a week
BoostMore turns under Bonus, plus an occasional sponsored post in the Feed$10 a week
SpotlightShown first under Bonus with a photo, plus more sponsored posts in the Feed$20 a week

Runs are 1, 2 or 4 weeks. Prices are in Australian dollars. Prices include any GST, so what you see is what you pay. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Bitcoin Cash.

What a good sponsored mission looks like

Something a group of friends would genuinely enjoy doing together at your place. For example: "Two-for-one tacos for crews", "Bring your crew for a free round of mini golf", "Sunset session: $5 off jugs when you show this". Keep it short, honest and fun.

How we check

  1. Automatic check: when you send a sponsored mission, it's checked against this policy straight away. Most are cleared in seconds, and then you can pay.
  2. A person checks the unclear ones: if something might break the rules, a Mish admin looks at it, usually within a day.
  3. If it's turned down, you'll see why. Fix it and send it again. If you think we got it wrong, reply through Feedback & ideas or email [email protected].

After it goes live

We may end a sponsored mission early if it breaks this policy, if lots of people report it, or if the offer isn't being honoured. If we end one because it breaks the rules, there's no refund. If we end one early for any other reason, we'll refund the weeks it didn't run. Repeated or serious breaches can lose you the ability to advertise on Mish.

Results

You'll see how each sponsored mission went: how many people saw it, how many crews took it, and how many checked in. Totals only; we never tell businesses who.
